Dragon Gryphon Earrings

A répoussé dragon from the 1920s and a modern-day gryphon, both brass. The dragon has a naturally oxidized antique finish; i painted the gryphon to match. Neither was drilled initially, i suppose they may have been intended as details in larger pieces. Paired with Czech crystal, brass drops and nazar/máti amulets, to protect against the evil eye. I like how both creatures look like strong defenders as well. Sinuous, light and graceful.
