Glass fuses! I drilled each fuse and cut the connectors out of aluminum clock-hands. Suspended on vintage cuckoo-clock chain. The design is based on ancient Egyptian faïence necklaces. The finial beads are the little throwaway place-holders you get in- between the beads on semiprecious strands - fun to give them a speaking role. The whole piece ripples in movement like a fringe. It will be making its debut on White Linen Night in the Heights, on the evening of August 2. Art, music, food. Come join the party!
